1) Bookmark syncing is really nice if you have Chrome on your main PC and a portable version on your flash drive.

2) You can quickly pin a tab by click-dragging a tab to the left edge of the window. Unpin by click-dragging the tab to the right.

Is there a Firefox add-on that enables multiple homepages?  I like the idea.  I would just up and try Chrome but with my tech not so savy girlfriend sharing my PC NoScript is a MUST.

When you go Tools > Options < Main, you can set up your homepages by also pressing SHIFT + \. that gives you this symbol "|" For example you could have www.google.com|www.maximumpc.com set as your homepages and it will go to both of those at startup.

Open up all the pages you want as homepages in separate tabs.  When you have it the way you want it, go to tools -> options and click Use Current Pages.

Damn.  I told my girlfriend it was something obvious.  And I was just missing it.  Thanks a lot.

I really like the interface of Chrome but i had to disable DNS Prefetching becuase i was getting DNS errors all the time.  I have no idea why. Apparently many other people have/had the same problem.

I love the pin tabs. I remember seeing a firefox extension a while ago that pinned the tabs for you. I didn't even realize it was built right into Chrome. Nice!
