I went through the steps for recording conversations, but only the person on the other end is being recorded in Audacity.  They can hear me, but since my voice isn't coming out of my speakers, the "What U Hear" is only picking up one side of the conversation.  Is there a way to record both sides of the conversation?  Or am I just missing something?

Thanks!!

Some great tips :-) I only really use Skype for cheap international calls and an easy way of sending group sms - plus I live outside US and don't have an unlimited SMS plan.  So it was good to find out a few new interesting uses for skype.  Plus you guys play poker ;-) That rocks!

HTC Tilt is a Windows Mobile device. The G1 runs Android. The Skype app for Android does NOT support VoIP and will not make calls over a WiFi or 3G connection. The Skype app for WinMo and iPhone does.

For anyone running Android, use fring instead of Skype Lite Beta. It's not perfect, but it lets you make calls over Wi-Fi and 3G, which is just like calling someone using Skype from your computer.

Skype Lite Beta uses minutes from your cellphone plan, completely defeating the point of Skype in the first place. Piss poor effort from Skype.

fring also works on Symbian OS.
