Photo Awesome #28: Panoramic View of the Maximum PC Offices and Lab
We've always thought Microsoft's Photosynth--which allows users to create and share pseudo-3d photo collections and panoramas--was some cool technology, but a little too much of a hassle to actually use.
That all changed when we discovered the new Photosynth app for iOS, which makes it fast and easy to create impressive 360-degree panoramas. To test it out, we used the app around the office and in the lab. Keep reading for the most immersive look yet at Maximum PC HQ, including panoramas of the office, the lab, and what it looks like to be in front of the lights of our video set-up. Pro-tip: use your mouse or directional keys to move around.

you know these picks would be great if you had made them compatible with moonlight instead of just silverlight instead you ostracized all your readers who use linux. Yes I could reboot or go to one of my other computers but since you don't care about me seeing it enough to make your site universally accessible I don't care enough to put up the effort.

What error did you get? I got it to "work" but I couldn't see the images because of "conflicting versions of libjpeg."

I am pretty sure your thermostats say Alerton on them. They look like Microset 2's. Do you guys get to use the BMS system for your office space?

The maid ran in terror when she found the dead chicken in the office, the machine gun in the lab and the dead body of the late Andrew Sanchez under the bench in pic 3 look srtaight down and you can see his feet sticking out. I wonder what else is hidden in those cupboards?

Heh, reminds me of a HP repair I had to do once. The computer was installed under a desk in a cubicle and I had to shimmy under to network the guy. My 6 1 frame was jammed under the desk but I did not realize that my feet stuck out into the aisle. I felt this hard kick to my shin and a large WHOMP followed. I looked out and there is a poor secretary laying flat out on the floor and a once nicely collated and huge stack of paper floating down EVERYWHERE. I scrunched under the desk and hid for the longest time...

Is that a picture in the lab of the late editor, Andrew Sanchez? Also, is that the 2010 Dream Machine sitting in the lab doing nothing!?
