Murphy's Law: It's the Interface, Stupid!

Anything developed overseas. The fact that I can barely read half of the documentation that came with my NAS only serves to prove how much I'm going to wind up hating it.

I cringe at half the stuff you have to do in Linux. Such as GZip and the likes. Come on, make a nice easy to use gui, not a complicated mess of a command line. <3 Yum.

As a general rule, I don't download open-source software unless it has a screenshot (or comes highly recommended); I figure if the creators are too lazy to post a screenshot, then the UI is most likely a trainwreck.

While no truly ugly programs come to mind, I think some browsers are the main culprits (*cough*IE*cough*).  I've actually cringed at the sight of some people's browsers, with stacks upon stacks of toolbars ( - granted, this was done on purpose).

Please deposit your pride, life, and other garbage in the receptacles at the back of the theater before you leave. Thanks!
