I just built the project machine and I am happy to say it went off without a hitch. I followed some of the other comments on the Cooler Master CM690 Chassis. Found it to be OK, But I am sure the suggested case would have been better. That is if you could find one around. It seem as soon as the MAG hit the streets, all thoses cases were gone. I also use Crucial memory in place of the patriot memory. But it went together really well. The article was well written even for a novice like me.

I noticed that the pdf file for April08 has several sections where blocks of text were removed from the article. The most obious is the face off on pages 14 &15.
There are numerous other glitches throughout the file that include messed up graphics and missing text.
You may want to rescan this issue and put it back up after it's fixed.

I got the box to boot up but it only runs probably 60 to 90 seconds, enough to get into bios setup and then shuts down.

Power supply is the Silencer 610 as specified.

I have sata drives in 5 and 6 (recognized) and two optical drives on the IDE chain (not recognized).

I have verified the cabling to the IDE drives and to the mother board (and the second one in the chain is a slave).
