Toshiba Tablet Site Pokes Fun at iPad's Lack of Flash

Remember how the iPad was submerged under tons of ridicule for a variety of reasons even before its release? Of course, you remember it all. The fact is a lot of people simply can’t miss an opportunity to poke fun at the Cupertino-based iEverything vendor. As for its competitors, they just love it even more. Now, Toshiba is mocking those visiting its tablet site from iOS-based devices by reminding them just how big a handicap the lack of Flash can be.
This is the message that greets iDevice users: “Such a shame. Add this to the list of interesting places on the Internet you can’t see on your device. Of course, if you had a Toshiba Tablet, you would enjoy the entire Internet. Yep, Flash sites too.”
Toshiba’s tablet will be powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC and run Android 3.0 Honeycomb. However, iPad owners need to wait a few more months if they wish to switch to Toshiba’s 10.1-inch.

Well, neither can people enjoy the internet if their Toshiba laptops always breaks after a year of use.

What are you referring to? Toshiba has one of the better reputations for laptop reliability.

Apple makes fun of Toshiba's lack of a tablet and points out that in the future they will have neat stuff too.

So does this thing have a 3g data plan or is it just wifi? cause if this was just wifi, that would be awesome, that way i don't have to worry about paying for another data plan

You dont have to, just buy it outright and turn off the 3g.

If it cost over a thousand dollars, I think I would still rather have the full power of a full size laptop. But if they could hit that $400-$500 price I would be all over it.

Better yet, their whole site should have been made in Adobe flash - not just the main content. I am so glad I don't have an iPad!
