How exactly is AMD planning on selling server chips without having support for Linux? Linux is HUGE in the server world.

I really don't think this will hurt the linux community all that much, anyways, although support for linux on AMD (sadly, my rig) might get worse.

If I had to choose only one, I would rather have better AMD CPUs than better AMD Linux support.

I thought that AMD CPUs were running markedly better under Linux, due to AMD's support of Linux, as the process scheduler on Linux didn't have its head buried in the sand regarding the Bulldozer "module" structure??
