At first I thought that was a grid for a built in palm-cooling fan on top for marathon gaming and thought "hey cool!"

then I realized it was just a stupid window

seriously. like so many others I just want a mouse with left click, right click, middle click/wheel, and maybe the back and forward browser buttons. I don't want a mouse that has more keys on it than a blackberry.

I admit I am a gamer, but to be completely honest, I prefer using mostly my keyboard to play games. I only really use the mouse to move the camera around the map, or when I'm playing a shooter like Call of Duty or Mass Effect. Or Skyrim. Or Dragon Age. or...Well OK you get the point. But to be honest, I only really need three buttons on my mouse: left, right, and middle click. Having all those other buttons is nice, but it's just not something I'd ever use.

OK, that probably won't happen, but I couldn't resist adding that, LOL!

well, agree that we don't need 6-10 extra buttons :D But 2 side button is always useful.. In BF4 I used to put primary weapon in side button which is really useful!!.. also in Dota and all really need those 2 side button..

In FPS games, can you bind movements, actions and weapon selection on the side buttons of these "MMO-type" mouse? I'm on the market for a mouse that plays FPS and RPG's beautifully.

Tnx in advance.

I don't see why you can't. The buttons are supposed to be programmable for MOBAs as well so binding them for a FPS game shouldn't be a problem.

Looks cool. I doubt that it's any better than my Logitech G600 though. The buttons on the top look like they'll be prone to miss clicks.

The 3 buttons for your index finger on the Logitech G700 and G700s is what sold me as well as the side buttons. The shape and height of the 3 top/Index finger buttons on the Logitech G700 are perfect IMO. If the 2 buttons for the index finger on this mouse are lifted high enough there shouldn't be a problem on miss-clicking. It's still a pretty looking mouse though IMO :)

Those top buttons concern me as well. I'd have to test this out before I bought to see if I accidentally click those buttons while using it.

Have the Naga and I'd have to agree the having the 12 buttons on the side seems to be the best setup for me as well. Just prefer to use my thumb for the extra buttons, anything else is too awkward.
