If you though the Consumer Electronics Show would be mostly about Ultrabooks and tablets, well, you're probably right. That doesn't mean there won't be other nifty products on display. AOC tells us it's going to unveil a 22-inch USB monitor (e2251Fwu) with LED backlight and simple plug-and-play connectivity, making dual- and multi-monitor setups an attainable goal for the masses.

According to AOC, the e2251Fwu is a flexible display capable of handling business, gaming, and entertainment tasks equally well. It's rated at 250 cd/m2 brightness, 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and boasts a Full HD 1920x1080 resolution. It's also HDCP compatible.

For you non-traditional types, AOC says you can rip away the stand and use the display as a digital photo frame, or as a presentation display in a pinch. And while AOC was short on specifics, the company says its USB panel doesn't weigh much and offers wide viewing angles.

The e2251Fwu will be available in February 2012 for $199.
