Antec Says New Computer Case is the 'One'

Paul Lilly

If a sub-$60 computer case is what you're after, Antec has the One, which is the name of the latest addition to its Gaming Series. The simply titled One takes aim at mainstream gamers and anyone in the market for an affordable chassis. It's a nickel under sixty bucks, comes with top and rear 120mm exhaust fans, and has mounts for four more 120mm fans, plus a perforated mesh construction to aid with airflow.

"The One is for anyone who has thought about building a PC or for anyone looking for a wallet-friendly, long-lasting case," said Mafalda Cogliani , Global Marketing Director at Antec. "It's a great option for system integrators because it has tool-less drive bays and blends well in a home."

The One sports an all-black theme, inside and out, which you don't always find on a budget chassis. It has 10 drive bays in all, including three 5.25-inch tool-less bays, a pair of 2.5-inch dedicated bays, and five 3.5-inch tool-less bays. There are seven expansion slots, water cooling cutouts, a "maximum-sized" CPU cutout, cable management cutouts, and USB 3.0 support.

Antec's One is available now on Newegg, Provantage, J&R, Canada Computers, and NCIX. The company said it will also bring two special versions to market later on down the road, the One S ($50) and the Ose S3 ($55).
