Add quad-channel memory, DDR4 support, 4 more "CPU" and get "Dual Graphics" working flawlessly and bring it to the desktop.

HSA is cool and is making inroads with software devs but the CPU is still king and as far as CPU are concerned these processors are only quad-cores and that is insufficient.

"Yeah, well, that's the trick isn't it"

Agreed, 100% (they actually need to get closer to DDR4 3800MHz to start being able to match GDDR5 performance which will let them get better "Dual Graphics").

Still stuck on 28nm I assume?

Yes, but this is a new 28nm node that kicks the Trinity/Richland/Hawaii's ass. GF bought it from someone, though I can't remember who.

Hey.That_Dude

Then this is FD SOI and not bulk?

Awesome!!

Start putting them into hybrid laptop/tablet Win8 devices. The sooner the better.

Going around the benchmarks, they do perform, but they were lacking in power consumption and heat output for some reason. I'd wait on those because for this tier of computers, I'd rather take portability over performance.
