I commend the no-interest payment plan though I still wonder why I should buy this thing for almost 400 dollars in the first place.

400 bucks for an artificially gimped version of android? I'd rather not have to side-load my apps that aren't in the Kindle store. Fire or iPad, either way I'm buying an expensive ticket into a walled garden.

Its just Hsn Flexpay. With Flexpay they charge no interest on items and you pay in 4 or 5 payments. More online stores should do this.

That's actually a great deal for people like me who are poverty stricken but want/need a tablet that isn't a chinese piece of junk barely able to launch android.
