In adobe's defense, the ONLY people I've heard complaining about moving to a subscription based service are people who download Creative Studio illegally. Anybody who actually paid for Creative Studio loves the subscription model (myself included).

That's some kind of market research there. Really good stuff.

I wouldn't say I'm happy about having to pay 50 bucks a month (30 right now but who knows how long that will last,) but since Adobe left me with no other choice, it's the way I have to go. Previous versions I always picked up cheaper through sources like Amazon. So no, I don't pirate the stuff because I believe in pay for the products I use. I have however started exploring other options like GIMP, Formulate Pro, Inkscape, Synfig etc. As soon as I'm satisfied that I can perform at the same level as I do in Adobe's products, I'll be dropping them like a bad habit.

*smirks* This wouldn't have anything to do whatsoever with moving your entire Creative suite to web only subscription now would it Adobe?

One must suspect this has everything to do with the decision to move Adobe products to a subscription-based model.
