I must be imagining things, because I could have SWORN Google just bought Motorola a few months ago!

I love Thinkpads but the quality has been slipping. I'm worried Lenovo will do the same to my Smartphone brand.

As do I.

Wow. The maker of my smartphone is getting passed around from bad company to bad company like a rather ironic peace pipe.

Google and Lenovo are 'bad companies'? wtf ironic peace pipe are you smoking?

Google and Lenovo only bought Motorola for the patents, and I agree it would be nice to see a company actually revive Motorola and do something with it.

Lenovo wants to grow their Smartphone business (they are #4 in the world), and they need an established entry into the North American and European markets - that's why they bought Motorola. The patents are a bonus. Read the interview with Lenovo's CEO, who said he wanted to buy their hardware 2 years ago, just after the Google/Moto deal closed.

If the comments function wasn't so stupidly broken more people would be "sounding off".

For instance...this is the first time in WEEKS I've been able to login, have the system RECOGNIZE that I'm logged in, and then be able to post a comment.

Interesting. I was unaware of this situation. Do you get some error message? If so, what does it say?

Thanks,

Maximum PCs sister site PC Gamer is experiencing the same problems. I've given up on trying to post there any more.
